    1. Just when Kat thinks her life can't get any worse, her duplex gets put up for sale, she and her sister are in a car accident, the guy that hit them is murdered before the settlement is finalized, the state trooper she likes only ever seems to see her when she's at her worst, she has to move in with her sister to help care for her niece and nephew who have autism spectrum disorders, and then some. Oh, and a mad man is threatening to kill her and her family. Can Kat solve the mystery of what the b [...]

    2. I was already laughing out loud in the first chapter; the author had me at “Kat Sprenkle.” And when a police officer who Kat, the protagonist, finds attractive says, “I may need to contact you again,” Kat responds, “Full body contact works for me.”The writing is the kind of witty, energetic, and irreverent comedy you expect from Kim Stagliano, mixed with the poignancy of her experience with raising children on the autism spectrum: the “crapisode” described in chapters 8 and 9 giv [...]

    3. I really enjoyed this book. humor, action and the perfect touch of romance. I also learned more about autistic children although I think some of the details involving as yet unproven theories could have been left out. GREAT HEA ending!!I hope to read more by this author. It helped me through a sick day at home and took my thoughts off myself.

    4. I got this free in a kindle format. It was a good read, and really shared what having children with autism was all about, without focusing too much around that topic. Despite Kat's torrid thoughts and innuendos, this book was pretty clean. There is language peppered throughout, though. It's an intriguing thriller, I wasn't on the edge of my seat, but it was worth the read.

    5. I'm not exactly sure how to review this. It was an fun story/mystery that kept me interested. It educated the reader about the struggles of autism (autism was an aspect of the story but it wasn't a book about autism) It was funny and adventurous. The dialog was witty and fun. I enjoyed the book and the characters. I'm glad I read it but I can't see myself rereading it.

    6. This was an okay book. Another freebie from Kindle. It did have its moments where it made me laugh, but seemed weird to have such serious times talking about autism.

    7. This book was exactly as advertised. It was Janet Evanovich meets the world of autism. I love Kim Stagliano on twitter and I love her writing style.
