    1. A Joyfully Jay review. 4.25 starsThe Storming Love series books can all be read as standalone as it’s only the impending disaster that ties each book together. The thing I like about this kind of series, which Starr does really well in this book, is that there’s a sense of emergency and immediacy with the natural disaster looming that brings people together. At the same time, I really liked that, in this case, Owen came to his revelation just before the tsunami hit. I liked that it wasn’t [...]

    2. I was graciously given a copy of this book from the author, and am providing a voluntary reviewThis was so sweet. Sebastian and Owen have been together for about 6 years, and Owen is struggling with doubts about being good enough for Sebastian. Owen injured his arm, and is not able to do the things he was once able to do. He's depressed and in a funk. Sebastian tells Owen that he loves him, but that Owen needs to really realize it, and then goes to their other home for a couple of days to give h [...]

    3. This was a short story about learning to live with what life has dealt us but at the same time recognizing what is most important before we lose it.A little over a year ago Owen was hurt while out hiking. It tore up his shoulder and his rotator cuff and he is not healing like he thought he should be. He is still in a lot of pain and he can no longer do a lot of things that he used to enjoy doing with Sebastian. Things like kayaking and swimming and so on. Because of the shoulder injury he has be [...]

    4. This is the story of an established couple, Owen and Sebastian. Owen is a little older than Sebastian (six years) and normally that wouldn’t matter but Owen hurt his shoulder and he is now unable to do the outdoor activities they had previously enjoyed. He is also not sleeping well due to pain and he’s feeling as though he is holding Sebastian back. He’s pouring himself into work and that serves to push them even farther apart. Neither of them wants to separate but they just keep fighting. [...]

    5. The Blogger GirlsOne of my favorite tropes is established couples losing their way and fighting to get back together. In this case, Sebastian and Owen have such great chemistry together and I never had any doubt these two would make it at the end. There is no infidelity, no abusive behavior, just one man who gets injured and because of the pain and lack of sleep becomes depressed and starts acting on that depression. You really love Sebastian, he was animated and happy and so obviously loved and [...]

    6. Highly recommend this beautiful story of overcoming adversity and loving as partners. A heartwarming story of finding yourself after life throws you a curve ball. Pain and injury happen to most of us at some point and how we deal with change and loss can define us. Owen has suffered from an injury, but his biggest loss was his belief in his lover and partner Sebastian. Doubting yourself and your lover was portrayed beautifully in this story, there were no bad guys, no betrayal. only the loss of [...]

    7. *** Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie in exchange for a fair and honest review. ***While this is book 3 in the Storming Love series, Sebastian & Owen can be read as a standalone. Owen suffered an accident a year ago that left him with chronic pain on his shoulder, bouts of insomnia, depression and feeling that Sebastian, his lover of six years, deserves so much better than himself. Sebastian doesn't agree, but there's little he can do but argue with Owen and the other man doesn't want to li [...]

    8. This is a sweet, quick read with lots of feels. I didn’t read the first 2 in the Tsunami series and this is a complete stand alone. I always love stories with long time lovers…I love the history and comfort of the relationship. Due to Owen’s injury, they have gotten a bit off track and have to learn the importance of talking and listening to one another. They balance each other – Sebastian being fun-loving and full of life and Owen being more serious and goal driven. They truly love each [...]

    9. A wonderful short read about a sweet couple, Owen and Sebastian. I love stories with established couples who overcome difficulties in their relationship, it shows resilience, strength, and real love to deal with some of life's curveballs. This story has all of that and is set in a beautiful place to boot.Nic has an uncanny talent to get you really knowing her characters by their everyday habits, gestures, and words, along with snippets of information, rather than bogging the reader down with the [...]

    10. Book – Sebastian & Owen (Storming Love: Tsunami #3)Author – Nic StarrStar rating - ★★★☆☆No. of Pages – 79Cover – Simple, but nice.POV – 3rd person, one character POVWould I read it again – Maybe.Genre – LGBT, Tsunami, Romance, Storm, Disaster, Depression** I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR MY READING PLEASURE **Reviewed for Divine MagazineFor me, there was something indefinable missing from the story. Perhaps it was because I didn't mesh well with Owen, the main character and [...]

    11. 3.5*The last of the three in this themed series and I did quite enjoy.Life is grinding at Seb and Owen's relationship - they are happy but the niggles that everyone faces are there. Though I was surprised when Owen's age gap to Seb was revealed - I was imagining 20 years or so, not what it was. However, do have sympathy for the shoulder! The Tsunami itself was fairly low key in this one though the impact was big for Sebastian - and I thought Howard and Owen were portrayed as most would be with th [...]

    12. I received one copy of this book at no charge for review on Nautical Star Books but all opinions expressed here are my own. Actual review rating 3 1/2 but rounded up for quality of writing.Sebastian & Owen (Storming Love Tsunami Book 3) by author Nic Starr is a short and sweet romance that is a bit of a change in style from most of her other books I have read. There is a loving relationship that is struggling to survive, a bit of drama, and a lovely reconciliation. It’s only 79 pages so yo [...]

    13. Originally posted at Scattered Thoughts and Rogue WordsThis is a sweet novella about an established couple, Owen and Sebastian, living and working together in Tasmania for the past 6 years. After an injury leaves Owen, who is 6 years older, with chronic pain, disability, and depression, he starts to doubt his worthiness to be partnered with Sebastian. It is a typical trope: “I'm not good enough for you, so why would you want to be/stay with me?” I usually see it written in the beginning of s [...]

    14. Sebastian and Owen have been together for several years. They are very much in love, have a beautiful home and a thriving business.
