    1. Obviously, replacing Santa just won't do, in any situation. But I loved this little read and it taught a moral. " You never know what you have until it's gone!"

    2. An adorable Christmas book that teaches the importance of not just doing a job, but meaning it. I also love that it covers how many have made Christmas into a business instead of an enjoyable experience. And the illustrations are fantastic!/book/show/5/author/show/author/show

    3. The elves decide to replace Santa with a robot. Things go awry and Santa gets called back. In the mean time he found his true love, so it was all good.

    4. Santa is great as his job, but the elves think they can do better. Muckle, choosing action, building a crazy contraption that can do Santa's job, but without soul. Oh silly elves.I like this one less than How Santa Got His Job, but when I have the kids vote, they tend to go for this one. Muckle's a jerk. I wish I liked the illustrations better.Regardless, pairs well with How Santa Got His Job.

    5. Santa is so set in his routines, that one of the elves is convinced her can streamline things with his new invention - a machine that will replace Santa. After many side by side tests, the elves decide the machine is more efficient, and so they vote to use it over Santa. But wheneverything goes wrong on Christmas Eve, who is there to save the day/ Why, Santa, of corse. Very cute and has a fun twist at the end.

    6. This is such a cute story! I really enjoyed it and think it would be a fun story to read to a class at Christmas time. In this story, the elves start to wonder if Santa is "the right man for the job". They come up with a machine that they think will be more effective in delivering presents. This story teaches how important the human touch is. :)

    7. This book is really sweet about how Santa lost his job. One elf, Muckle, decides that Santa really isn't as efficient as he feels he should be, so he makes up a contraption known as the Deliverator to take over Santa's job. Will Santa be replaced?

    8. A cute story about Santa and his life at the north pole. It shows that sometimes mistakes are made and people even santa can be taken for granted. It is very cute and very interesting. I would say it is a good book to read to a little one who is having trouble being ready on time.

    9. I like the prequel - How Santa Got His Job - better, but this is a funny take on how the elves tried to do without Santa one year.

    10. Santa loses his job due to Muckle's Deliverator in this story, fortunately, Santa's role as official Christmas gift is returned to him the Deliverator doesn't deliver as planned. For those familiar with the Accelerated Reader Program, this is a level 3.2 book.

    11. This takes a different spin on Santa, while still keeping it traditional and sending a message that no one can take Santa away from us.

    12. On the off chance someone with full editing privileges reads this - there are two spelling mistakes in the description of the book.
