    1. Let me get this out- the cover is gorgeous! That smoldering rake yummy. Now the book which was pretty average. After having a disappointing reading day yesterday- I was looking for something wonderful to read. Hence I picked this up.This is the story of Felicity and Lord Ian.Felicity is the notorious writer, Lord X- who pens gossip columns to support her family- which consists of 4 younger brothers. When one such speculation leads to the breaking of Lord Ian's engagement as his to be fiancée elop [...]

    2. I loved Ian! Felicity was a pain! She always had something to say to stop Ian or slow him way down. I loved the way he gave her some time to realize he was for her. She was so stuborn but Ian knew just how to get his way. Ahh what a man!Felicity was a gossip writer for the Evening Gazette in 1820 London. She used a pen nameLord X. She made the mistake of writing gossip about Ian and he got angry about it. He decided to find out just who Lord X is. He was surprised that it was a woman. Her last c [...]

Abso [...]

    4. Simply stated, I did enjoy this Sabrina Jeffries historical romance. Of course, the best thing I liked about it was the cover illustration! Sooo yummy!! Just keeping this hero's sexy face in mind doubled the lusty heat portrayed by his character. I've read many romances where the interactions and dialogue between the hero and heroine were witty, sarcastic and very entertaining, but added ruthless to what progresses between this hero and heroine and that extra something that makes their story so [...]

    5. As I am finding with Jeffries' female characters, I found the female lead annoying, somewhat despicable and utterly weak. I also find Jeffries' requisite random non-lead POV insertion to be supremely insulting (because really, I couldn't figure out what this character's motivation was without seeing it from their POV?) and also wrenched me out of the story. I hate that. However, as usual, Jeffries has interesting mysteries and plots and fantastic male leads. One only wonders what these fabulous m [...]

    6. DNF @ 16%Their first fight really stressed me out (really really stressed me out) and then I kept reading, only to realize that this was going to be one of those books where the hero and heroine fight all the effing time just to create sexual tension. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think I am and I don't want to waste my time reading a book that stresses me out with bickering.

    7. I first read this a few years ago and liked it, but didn't think it was anything much. Then in the last six months or so, I found myself thinking of 'that story where the penniless heroine is secretly a gossip columnist, and she's got to support this brood of younger siblings, and I think they went to a wax museum?,' only by then, I'd long forgotten the title of the story and who wrote it. After a LONG time searching the archives on my Kindle (attention : you might get to work developing more fu [...]

    9. I wish I could give this book 10 STARS.I was glad to read Ian story.w the heroine on the other hand what a BIOACHe was tripping up until literally the end of the book. But Ian was amazing, dark, handsome, kindhearted, lovable and richn't ask for a better hero. I thought his character was funny at times, emotional at times and HOT at times. The storyline came together for me but I was surprised that he would be interested in someone like Felicity too damn strong willed and the bitch was borderlin [...]

    10. I've just read some reviews about this, and I kinda agree with them. I wanted to scream at the female lead to stop badgering the poor guy and others when I wanted to scream at the male lead to just tell her the truth. Its not that bad. I was expecting something much worse then that. As the "incident" was an accident! You see it happen a llt these days. When he was telling the story, I really wanted to give the guy a hug. The female leads 4 brothers were just lovely. I really loved them, and they [...]

    11. The romance between a nearly destitute gossip columnist with four young brothers to care for and a mysterious viscount with a dark secret past. The two meet when Felicity writes about Ian in an effort to help a timid friend of hers who could not find a reason to refuse his proposal and he becomes determined to discover her real identity and make sure she doesn't write anything else about him.Neither acts as the other expects and sparks begin to fly from their first encounter, leading Ian to set h [...]

    12. A cheesy, sexy, hot romanceAfter reading a third book of same kind i should have been satisfied Really i usually do that's why i dont read most of the series which run like 7-12 books or even more but this time i really wished the author had written more in this seriesBut i guess i can always read the other books of same kind Afterall the author have written a quite a lot of themWhat i liked the most is the first half of the book where they were having a banter I mean who wouldn't love a sexy fi [...]

    13. Overall an ok book. The characters can be very frustrating and unlikable. SJ may be going for realistic or honest behavior/reaction but it did not endear the characters to me.Felicity was quite the self-righteous prig who jumps to conclusion based on what facts she has gathered. On a normal person, that is already irritating. From someone who writes gossip news; even if that is her only means of supporting her family, that is indecent and outrageous.Surprisingly, Ian falls for her. With all the [...]

    15. I can honestly say that I cannot find one redeeming character about Felicity.Declaring that she is a serious author when not the least bit of fact checking took placee writes slander. She should be prosecuted, not married. The entire book with drove me mad. How are you supposed to like a silly woman like that? Please do not mistake self confidence with utter stupidity and an overflated ego!!!!!

    16. My absolute favorite from this trilogy. A spitfire, smart and sassy heroine, and a tortured, intelligent, and physical hero, all wrapped up in a great plot. The back-and-forth between the two main protagonists is corking!

    17. I looked forward to Ian's story from the his first appearance in the first book in the series, and more so after his role in the second. I am glad that he found his happy ending after two of his prospective wives eloped with other men--fate had a better partner waiting for him in Felicity Taylor.

    18. It's a toss up between this book and the second in the series for which one I enjoyed more. So glad I finally read this series, SJ is one of my favorite authors, so the only series left of hers to read is Swanlea Sisters, and I'm starting it now!

    19. It's been a while since I've read a romance novel with a heroine as annoying as Felicity Taylor. Had to skim the last half of the book just to get through this insipid effort. (Rating: 2 stars)

    20. Easily forgettable regency that borrows heavily from Julia Quinn's Bridgestone series with the woman writing the mysterious newspaper column, and a hero tortured by an uncle and his own past.

    21. The Dangerous Lord is the final book in the Lord Trilogy and being consistent it stays an average historical romance read with an annoying Heroine like the previous books. The Heroes in these books are definitely more likeable than their women. The story is based on a withheld incident that involves the Hero, his Uncle, and his Aunt. It's an enjoyable but predictable story. The Pirate Lord: 3+ starsThe Forbidden Lord: 3- starsThe Dangerous Lord: 3 starsFelicity Taylor is London's secretive gossi [...]

    22. Ian is desperate to get married to save his estate. He has tried several times to respectable choices, but they always fell through. He is furious when his latest choice falters because of untrue rumors printed in a gossip column. Determined to stop the infamous Lord X from further harming his reputation, he tracks down the writer only to discover that Lord X is an extremely attractive and aggravating woman. She refuses to not only print a retraction but to stop writing about Ian since she is ce [...]

    23. We saw quite a lot of Ian, Viscount St. Clair, in the previous book and we learn two things about him: he needs to find a wife soon and there is some sort of mystery about his past.In this book, we learn that due to the terms of his father's will, Ian must not only marry but also have a legitimate heir in two years time. Otherwise the estate will go to Ian's despicable uncle.Ian is almost engaged to a quiet, shy girl that he thinks will be suitable. Until the gossip columnist called Lord X insin [...]

    24. No me pareció de los mejores de Sabrina pero sí bastante entretenido. Digamos que me entretuvo mientras lo leí pero pronto se me fue de la cabeza.Pero creo que "Lord Prohibido" es mucho peor.
